Astrophotography 101
This photo was taken near Natural Bridge Station in rural Virgina. Shot on a Nikon D800 with a 24-70 f/2.8 @ 24mm f2.8, 20 sec exposure and ISO 3200.
It takes just a few simple tools and techniques to start getting killer images of the night sky. Most of you (photographers) probably already have what you need.
1. Digital SLR
2. Semi-fast Wideangle Lens
3. Sturdy Tripod
And lastly... A clear view of a dark sky.
